The Fine Print:

• This contest starts on March 6th, 2019 and receipts must be for that date or later.
• To find a local indie bookstore, click here.
• If your favorite indie bookstore does not have the book in stock, you can special order it with them or order it on their website and bring it to the store.  If there are no indie bookstores near you, you can order directly from IndieBound.org and take the photo at the location of your choice. 
• This promotion is being offered by the author, John Marszalkowski.  This is not a promotion run by any bookstores.  They will likely have no idea what you're talking about if you mention it at the store.  John will order the gift certificate from the bookstore and have it mailed to the winner.  If the store doesn't offer tangible gift-certificates, then an alternative payment method will be given to the winner, such as but not limited to a prepaid debit card.
• The winner will be contacted by direct message on the platform from which they posted the photo.  An address will be required in order to send the gift certificate/card.
• Hide personal information if it appears on the receipt.  You don't want to post a photo with your phone number, your address, or anything like that.  Hide private information by either blocking it with your finger, tucking the receipt partway into the book, or any creative way to show that you bought "BUY MY BOOK" after March 6th, 2019, but without any info you don't want seen publicly.  You can also exclude the receipt from your photo if you private message a photo of the receipt, via facebook, instagram, or twitter. 
• This promotion will not end before the sixth valid post is online, but can end anytime after the sixth valid post.  If more than six people participate, all participants will be divided into groups of six. This process can repeat until the author chooses to end the promotion.
  
• Valid posts are based on the rules listed here, but are determined by the author.  Any attempts to cheat or "manipulate the system" will disqualify the participant. 
• The winners will be chosen by random chance.  Each contestant will be assigned a number (one through six) and a dice will be rolled to determine the winner.  Chances of winning are 1-in-6.
• The price of "BUY MY BOOK" can vary from store to store.  Additional costs, such as sales tax and shipping and handling, are dependant on each individual seller.  â€‹Refund policies are specific to the store.
• If your store is having trouble ordering it for some reason, let them know that the ISBN is 9781732022614 and it is distributed by INGRAM.
